Happy Blogday to Miss W.
Wow, a year has passed since I first put thoughts to paper in the edublogosphere. The time has flown so quickly. I have made so many online friends from their comments and their help with my technological journey into Web2.0 tools.
I would especially like to thank Sue Waters, author of the Edublogger, for all her assistance in beginning blogging, using twitter, skyping and running the student blogging competition in 2008.
I would also like to thank Jan Smith, Ines Pinto, Paul Bogush and Anne Mirtschin for their help in bringing Web2.0 tools into my classroom via skype, using translation tools and in Anne’s case, face to face when her class was visiting Tasmania.
I hope some of my posts have been of help to new bloggers, as the first few months are a very steep learning curve when writing your own blog.
Now to start on year two looking at Animoto, Slideshare …….

Happy Blog Birthday, Sue! I cannot imagine many one-year-old, one person ventures of any kind having such a profound effect on student and adult learners on a global scale. Your work has had such an impact on me personally–your “trail of bread crumbs” has been both pathway and inspiration. I am truly grateful. All the best for many more years of happy blogging!

I feel very grateful for all the support and inspiration I received from you and your wonderful initiatives on the web2.0 world.
They enabled me not only to learn and evolve on my own path, but, most of all, they opened my life to so many young people’s lives around the world, thus sharing a precious treasure with all of us. Thank you!

Hey Sue, happy blogday. You have accomplished so much in that time, that I find if hard to believe that it is only 12 months since you started. Your commitment to blogging is an inspiration to us all and your blogging competition of last year, ensures that many more across the globe will celebrate blogdays as well.
